Jane Park Smith
Ms America

Often called the “food fairy,” Jane enjoys refined food to the nth degree. Her culinary appreciation started early as her brother, Jason Park, is a restauranteur with an acclaimed flagship establishment www.maruvalencia.com. Her artistic inclinations don’t end with food, however, as she has been seen in shows from Reno 911, Bones, 24, as well as films, including Quarantine and Street Warrior. A UCLA alum,

Jane is also dedicated to volunteerism, speaking out for the voiceless and oppressed. She has served as a spokesperson for The Katrina Family Relocation Project and has raised support for Kenyan orphans as one of Global Volunteer Network's official Ambassador. Be sure to check out www.eatsotheycan.org. So, with diverse interests, why the “food fairy?” “I can’t help but share my love of food with my friends. So, gifting-away little food packages of homemade or storebought treats are a perfect way to show ‘em I love ‘em!..and there is almost always super dark, dark chocolate involved!” www.janeparksmith.com

Javier Cabral
teenageglutster.blogspot.com

Food, punk, angst, hormones and a really, really fast metabolism" is the concept behind the "Teenage Glutster" food blog. Since the angry and bored age of fifteen--starting with a fascination of his never ending growth in his height--Javier has had a burning consumer passion/obsession with anything and everything relating to food, drink its history and technicalities. East L.A born and bred, it was in his tranferring of High Schools where he discovered just how awesome food really is and how much its taken for granted.

While the rest of his preppy classmates would swarm to the nearest burger dispensary afterschool, he would walk aimlessly collecting take out menu's from regional ethnic restaurants. He currently is taking as many local Culinary Arts, Baking and English classes as he can while balancing playing in back yard punk shows and being on the fencing team. His imminent domain is NYU for their "Food Studies" program as he wishes to someday, somehow make a living with anything really relating to food and writing.
