Award winning author, pastry chef, and teacher, Alice Medrich is one of the country’s foremost experts on chocolate and chocolate desserts. Alice has received three “Cookbook of the Year” Awards from the James Beard Foundation and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
Alice’s newest book, Chewy Gooey Crispy Crunchy Cookies (Artisan, 2010), sold out its first printing in 3 weeks and was selected as one of the top cookbooks of 2010 on ABC’s Good morning America as well as in The New York Times, Washington Post, and San Francisco Chronicle. Alice Lives and works in Berkeley, California.

Lisa Lu

Bay Area native Lisa Lu is no stranger to desserts. After first contemplating a career in interior architecture, she was quickly drawn to the heat and sweet of the kitchen when she turned her chocolate making hobby into a career as she sought to constantly improve upon the holiday treats that she was making for friends. Lu’s first culinary job was as a pastry cook at Aqua in San Francisco and after three and a half years and advancing to Pastry Sous Chef, she left for some of the finest San Francisco kitchens including Globe Eats, Zuppa Restaurant, Quince and Michael Mina. Lu is currently the pastry chef at Jardiniere Restaurant, co-owned by Traci Des Jardins and Pat Kuleto.
Lu loves all pastries, but is especially drawn to chocolate and anything that can be created from it. Lu holds a BFA in interior architecture from USF and Academy of Art.

Andrea Robinson, one of the country's leading wine educators, is one of only 16 women in the world who have been appointed Master Sommelier by the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers. She was the first woman ever chosen Best Sommelier in the United States by the Sommelier Society of America.
Andrea also became the first appointed Dean of Wine Studies for COPIA: The American Center for Wine, Food and the Arts in Napa in 2008. In 2007 she was appointed Master Sommelier for Delta Air Lines, and is also a member of the Macy's Culinary Council, specializing in wine and wine pairings.

Leslie Sbrocco is a libations and lifestyle expert whose approach to food, wine, and travel is both educational and entertaining. As a regular guest on NBC's Today show and news programs around the country, she spreads the gospel about enjoying life.
She has won a Tasty Award, the James Beard Award and three Emmy awards for her role as host of PBS tv's "Check Please!" Sbrocco has penned two books about wine and is a wine consultant and nationally recognized speaker.
Leslie is also the founder of a new multi-media company,
