The BLACK CUBE’s patented textured surface cooks like stainless steel and cleans easy, similar to a fully nonstick. In practice we found that this economical pan did cook bacon and other high-temperature foods quite well. On the cleaning side, the pattern and textured middle part of the skillet does clean fairly easily, although the non patterned steel rims do require more effort.
