ARTISAN PERFUME AWARDS

An annual Juried Awards competition rewards the Top Artisan, Niche, and Custom Fragrances of the Year.

Products from across the country are entered into this competition and sent to a panel of judges located throughout North America, who review and vote on which they consider to be the “Top Artisan Fragrances of the Year.”

In addition, the three “Top Artisan Perfumer” award winners from this competition are given the title, “Official Fragrance Partner of the TASTE AWARDS.”

WHAT ARE THE ARTISAN FRAGRANCE AWARDS?
The world is full of fantastic and innovative fragrances. That’s why our panel of experts samples each year some of the best, and ranks and celebrates what they find.

Perfume used to be known as something that you wore when you were doing something special or given as gifts. They also were created by a select few, and were considered luxuries. However today’s fragrances are made from the finest ingredients, with unique combinations of scents and techniques, and are presented not as luxuries but as necessities for a well enjoyed life. They are truly an artisan creation, and are welcomed by even the most challenging of perfume lovers.

These creators deserve recognition, and they earn it every day.

There are lots of perfume brands, and sorting through them to find some of the best to wear, gift, or even sell can be a challenge. The ARTISAN FRAGRANCE AWARDS are great tool for anyone trying to discover a unique, award-winning, artisan fragrance.

OFFICIAL FRAGRANCE PARTNERS OF THE ANNUAL TASTE AWARDS
Recipients of this honor have the use of the title, “Official Fragrance Partner of the TASTE AWARDS,” as well as the option to place product samples in the VIP and Celebrity Gift Bags at the TASTE AWARDS Red Carpet celebration in Beverly Hills (March/April).

The TASTE AWARDS celebrate the year’s best in food, fashion and lifestyle programs on television, in film, online, and on radio.

The Annual Awards have included appearances by stars, celebrities, producers and executives from networks and platforms such as the Food Network, the Style Network, Bravo, the Cooking Channel, TLC, Discovery, Lifetime, E! Entertainment Television, PBS, APT, Create TV, NBC, ABC, the CW, HGTV, the Travel Channel, HD Net, Hulu, YouTube, Sony Pictures, Vimeo, Vice, MyxTV and more.

This competition is open to artisan fragrances and perfumes.

Entries are judged in the following categories:

Best Scented Candle or Diffuser
Best Scented Soap (Bar, Cube, or Liquid)
Best Scent Project Collaboration

You may register additional products if the Registration is still open.

ENTRY SUBMISSION RULES FOR 2026:

1. Please send 12 individually-labeled samples of each fragrance for judging. The awards only accept sample-size products. Do not send fully-packaged or full-size samples for review

2. For photographic purposes, please send just ONE Full-Size, Fully-Packaged samples for promotions.

3. Entries must be sent and received during the dates specified. (JULY 5-9th).

Product submissions are made after the entry deadline and before the product submission deadline, and are sent directly to the Organizers (TasteTV), based on the provided Entrant Instructions (sent after Entrant Registration is completed). Product submissions are then sent by the Organizers to the judges panel locations across North America for review and judging.

REGISTERED PRODUCT SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE SHIPPED SO THEY ARRIVE TO THE JUDGES IN BETWEEN JULY 5TH AND JULY 9TH. PRODUCTS ARRIVING AFTER THE LAST SHIP DATE MAY NOT BE INCLUDED. **PLEASE DO NOT SEND TO ARRIVE BEFORE JULY 5TH***

The Awards will be announced in August

Awards Judges are National and Regional Magazine, Newspaper and Blog Editors, plus Topic Experts and Retail Gurus. The judges panel information is often published after judging has been completed.
