TasteTV, TCB Cafe Publishing and Media LLC, and LaGrange Point Consulting have opportunities for Independent Sales Representatives that are experienced in sales, marketing, PR, or business development.

We are looking for people who are highly motivated, have the vision to see the big picture of what we are building, are excited to get in on the ground floor, and have the potential to grow with us. Independent Sales Reps / Account Execs are contracted for local, regional and national sales and business development opportunities.

The TASTE AWARDS are the premier broadcast awards show celebrating the year’s best achievements in Food, Fashion, Home and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, in Online Video, and in Apps, Radio, Podcasts and Photography. www.TheTasteAwards.com

Reps will be responsible for, based on individual interest and fit:

– Initiating Contact with Major and Mid-Tier Production Studios in Los Angeles
– Initiating and Managing Discussions on Joint Ventures, Partnerships, Licensing around the TASTE AWARDS event and brand
– Initiating and Managing Discussions on International Expansion around TASTE AWARDS event and brand
– Business Development
– Other Special Revenue Media Projects
– Client and Industry Presentations

Contractors can be Home-office based and Part-Time.

Compensation is based on a high commission scale that allows the opportunity for a high annual income, as well as bonuses for performance. This is a contract position. This is a 100% commission-based position.

Independent Sales Representatives operate as contractors, either full-time or part-time, and receive a generous commission on all deals they generate and close.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1-5 years experience in print, online, sponsorship or television ad sales
1-5 years of experience in Media
College Degree
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally online, in person, and on the telephone
Ability to self-manage and deliver results on a timely basis
A track record of success
Ability to generate revenue creating concepts that are mutually beneficial to both clients and the firm
Absolute and complete professional that reflects positively on our firm
Marketing or PR experience desirable

Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style Exhibit at the VMFA

Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Richmond, Virginia is hosting the Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style exhibit in the summer 2017.

The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts will become home to the distinguished Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style exhibit. This one-of-a-kind exhibit showcases selections from the legendary designer’s 44-year career, drawn from the collection of the Fondation Pierre Bergé with new acquisitions that have never been shown publicly before. The exhibit includes 100 examples of haute couture and ready-to-wear garments revealing Saint Laurent’s artistic genius, as well as his working process, and the sources of his design inspiration.

VMFA is the only East Coast venue for the exhibition. In addition to haute couture ensembles and ready-to-wear clothing, Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style includes costume jewelry and other accessories, photographs, drawings, films, and video from the Fondation’s vast archive. The exhibit will run through the end of August.
