WINE: New Gamay and Limited Edition Rosé Collections from WineSociety

First Truth: WineSociety’s wines finally pushed us over the edge of realizing canned wines are now very good, and their new Gamay and Rosé collections even more so.

Second Truth: Each of these cans actually contains the equivalent of 4 glasses of wine… that’s almost an entire bottle!

Technically, they say that three 500 ML Cans = 16 servings, which makes it around 5-ish glasses per can, but it depends on who is pouring.

Recently WineSociety announced its partnership with influencer-created shopping app LIKEtoKNOW.it for a limited edition rosé, called “LIKEtoKNOW.it.” The cans are decorated with a combination of the WineSociety KEY and a design referencing LIKEtoKNOW.it.  TasteTV’s wine reviews are very positive about the flavor of rosé itself, which continues to make it one of their trademark products.

The 500ml limited edition LIKEtoKNOW.it x WineSociety rosé cans, sold as a 3 packs are available for purchase exclusively through the LIKEtoKNOW.it mobile app, the rewardStyle platform and at WineSociety.com.

The new business partnership marks the first of this nature for both industry-leading companies: the fashion-forward $4B LIKEtoKNOW.it and WineSociety, the fastest growing premium canned wine on the market. WineSociety continues to think outside the bottle with their unconventional take on the wine industry. Unlike traditional wine brands, WineSociety does not offer up food pairings and instead offers up lifestyle pairings with their premium 500 ml wine cans, believing that wine is meant to be shared and enjoyed however you live your life.

Gamay is fascinating choice for WineSociety’s newest wine, as the grape is usually grown in France for Beaujolais and often produces light red wines. Interestingly the Gamay has only a 10% alcohol content, which is quite light compared to the 12.5-13% found in many French wines, and the 13% in the Rosé. Also, the Gamay in this collection is of a lighter color, similar to the rosé.

WineSociety‘s Gamay is called PLEASURE, and like the new rose, sports a more elaborate can design than their core red and white wines. The Gamay is available alone (retail), but you can also purchase it by the case, with 9 cans each.

Again, they’ve done the math and estimate that Nine (9) 500 ML Cans = 36 servings, $3.00 per glass. Again, this depends on who is pouring. In this instance they are going with the figure of 4 cans per can, which we of course endorse!

WineSociety is now available at select grocery stores including Vons, Albertsons, and Pavilions across California.
