If you have food lovers in your life that have earned a great gift then you are in luck! TasteTV has found some equally great ideas for you. They include gourmet meats, poultry, spices, pasta, cakes, and awesome cookbooks.

Capt. Drake’s Rum Cake from the Celtic Tea Shoppe

Some things you never know you’ve missed out on until you’ve had them. A good rum cake is one of them. Fortunately you can find a mouthwatering traditional rum cake from www.ArtisanCandies.com of the Celtic Tea Shoppe in San Jose, California.

This hard-to-share treat is a rich, moist bundt cake soaked in a complex dark rum, and made from scratch with all natural ingredients. We say hard-to-share, but you definitely will, mostly so you can make sure no one else misses out.

Prosciutto di Carpegna

Each slice of this rare Prosciutto melts in your mouth, it’s that good!

Prosciutto di Carpegna is made exclusively from Italian pigs known as “Pesante Padano,” or heavy pigs, in one of three Italian regions—Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, or Marche. The Pesante Padano must reach at least 10 months of age before butchering and must be cured for a minimum of 14 months to be certified as a Carpegna DOP product. The 20-month aging process, which uses traditional pork curing techniques that date back to the 1400s, adheres to some of the strictest production guidelines in the world.

What can be better than a goose that’s already been perfectly smoked, frozen and shipped directly to you, and then you simply put it in the oven for about an hour? Out emerges a succulent and ample feast for the eyes and tastebuds! That’s what you get with a Schiltz Farms smoked goose.

Goose is a much meatier bird that duck, chicken or turkey. There is ample meat not only on the breast (which are like steaks), but also on the wings, legs, and even on the back. The color is nice red, and Schiltz also pre-cooks or pre-smokes the goose so that you just have to pop it into the oven for an hour and then take out a juicy and delicious centerpiece for your cravings.

Plus, there are many ways to cook it. See a few here.

Just Mayo

Not as easy to find as we wish, but definitely worth the effort. Just Mayo‘s vegan spread and mayo substitute is just as good as traditional mayonnaise, if not better. It’s definitely as tasty, and is much healthier (egg-free, non-GMO, etc).

We use it on everything that calls for normal mayonnaise, including crab and tuna salads, and of course on burgers, whether they are plant-based or not.
