HEALTHY GOURMET SNACK AWARDS

The Annual Snack Awards competition rewards the Top Healthy Gourmet Snack creations of the Year.

This year’s competition is an Invitational, and limited to 15 brands and 30 products total (2 per brand)

Products from across the country are entered into this competition, and are sent to a select jury panel of food & wine media and industry judges located throughout North America. This panel tastes, reviews and votes on which they consider to be the “Top Healthy Gourmet Snacks of the Year.”

In addition, the top Snack Award winners from this competition are given the title, “Official Gourmet Snack Partner of the TASTE AWARDS” in their respective food categories.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTHY GOURMET SNACK AWARDS?
The world is full of fantastic, delicious, healthy and innovative snacks. That’s why our panel of experts tastes each year some of the best, and ranks and celebrates what they find.

Snacks used to be known as something that you ate when you were hungry or between meals without any regard for nutrition, but today’s healthy snacks are made from the finest ingredients, with unique combinations of flavors and techniques. It is truly an artisan creation, and is welcomed by even the most challenging of gourmets.

These creators deserve recognition, and they earn it every day.

There are lots of healthy snack brands, and sorting through them to find some of the best to eat, gift, or even sell can be a challenge. The HEALTHY SNACK AWARDS are great tool for anyone trying to discover a unique, award-winning, gourmet snack.

For the Annual Snack Awards Competition, Several Different Product Types are invited:
- Snack Bars
- Chips & Popcorns
- Cookies, Crackers, Crisps or Biscuits, Baked Items
- Nuts, Fruits, Granola
- Other
OFFICIAL GOURMET SNACK PARTNERS OF THE ANNUAL TASTE AWARDS
Recipients of this honor have the use of the title, “Official Gourmet Snack Partner of the TASTE AWARDS,” as well as the option to place product samples in the VIP and Celebrity Gift Bags at the TASTE AWARDS Red Carpet celebration in California.

The TASTE AWARDS celebrate the year’s best in food, fashion and lifestyle programs on television, in film, online, and on radio.

The Annual Awards have included appearances by stars, celebrities, producers and executives from networks and platforms such as the Food Network, the Style Network, Bravo, the Cooking Channel, TLC, Discovery, Lifetime, E! Entertainment Television, PBS, APT, Create TV, NBC, ABC, the CW, HGTV, the Travel Channel, HD Net, Hulu, YouTube, Sony Pictures, Vimeo, Vice, MyxTV and more.

You may register additional products if the Registration is still open.

This competition is open to bars, chips, cookies, and other solid edible products.

Not For This Competition: Liquids, Beverages, Condiments, Spices, products in jars or bottles, products requiring cooking or heating, products that require refrigeration, jerky. Chocolate bars, caramels, toffees and truffles should enter the Artisan Chocolate Awards. Jerky should enter the Jerky Awards.

SUBMISSION RULES FOR 2024

This year’s competition is an Invitational, and limited to 15 brands and 30 products total (2 per brand)

Product submissions are sent after the Entry Deadline, and are prepated for each Judge, based on the provided Entrant Instructions (sent after Registration is completed). Approximately 10 samples of each product submission registered should be sent, one for each Judge.

1. Please send 10 individually-labeled samples of each snack for judging.

2. Entries must be sent and received at the Organizers during the dates specified. (OCTOBER 7-11).

REGISTERED PRODUCT SUBMISSIONS SHOULD BE SHIPPED SO THEY ARRIVE TO THE ORGANIZERS IN BETWEEN OCTOBER 7TH THROUGH 11TH. PRODUCTS ARRIVING AFTER THE LAST SHIP DATE MAY NOT BE INCLUDED. **PLEASE DO NOT SEND TO ARRIVE BEFORE OCTOBER 7TH****

JUDGES PANEL

Awards Judges are National and Regional Magazine, Newspaper and Blog Editors, plus Topic Experts, Local Chefs and Food Gurus. The judges panel information is published after judging has been completed.
